So excited to officially be part of the Functionally Evolved Fitness community 💙 I’ve only just started, but already feel so supported by the creator, Ruben @rubenpthickstun and the entire team. It’s been really inspiring stepping into a space that values functional movement, community, and meeting people where they are. One of my favorite parts so far has honestly been the members themselves. Everyone has been so warm, welcoming, and encouraging — and I’ve loved seeing how much joy and interest this community has in music and dance. As a dancer, that means a lot to me 🫶 Excited to keep learning, growing, and moving together ✨ 🪩 “We put the FUN in Functional Fitness” 💪

After-class selfie 🤰🏻 One thing fitness has continued to teach me is that movement will look different throughout all seasons of life. Our bodies change through pregnancy, injuries, disabilities, mental health struggles, stress, healing, and growth—and there is still beauty and strength in all of it. Women’s bodies are beautiful at every size and stage. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s finding ways to move that help us feel strong, connected, confident, and alive. Some days movement is intense, some days it’s gentle, and some days simply showing up is enough. Most importantly, I hope we continue learning to love our bodies, have fun, and give ourselves grace along the way 🖤

Big shoutout to Samajay for helping me get class set up and supporting the experience behind the scenes 👏✨ One thing I’m really proud of with this group is how they continue to show up, work hard, and still have fun doing it. From our 1-minute plank challenges to strength work and cool downs, everyone brings such a positive energy and gives their best every class. Yeah… it feels a little cringe to post these 😅 But I hold my clients to a standard—and I hold myself to it too. I don’t just coach it… I live it. Behind the scenes, I’m navigating chronic pain, mental health, food sensitivities, and a body that doesn’t always respond the way I want it to. Some days are heavy. Some days feel unfair. But I made a promise to myself: To show up anyway. To be a role model—not because it’s easy, but because it’s hard. To prove that strength isn’t about perfection… it’s about persistence. In honoring women this month, I’m choosing to fight for myself. For longevity. For resilience.
