Kits For Bulilit’s first-year milestone! All thanks to our Rays of Hope 💛 After a 1-hour flight from Manila to Iloilo, a more or less 2-hour car ride to Antique with around 45 mins car ride to the nearest town, and 1-hour uphill trekking, Kits For Bulilits Family met with the Community of Hope in Bad-as, Antique. It was a thanksgiving party with so many firsts: 1. Kits For Bulilit celebrating their first physical party with games and prizes 2. Kits For Bulilit to be the first one to give the bulilits’ their FIRST EVER McDo Food 3. Kits For Bulilit to be the first one to do a slime making activity all thanks to our partner @tinkerhouseph for generously donating the slime kits 4. Kits For Bulilit celebrating their FIRST ANNIVERSARY with Bad-as Bulilits Our team was so happy to see the bulilits wear their best outfit that they can find, being very participative in every game, and even more excited to receive prizes! Their laughter and smile behind the masks are something we will most treasure. We honestly went there wanting to give hope but we went home FULL OF HOPE and fulfillment. This event will not be possible without the following: 1. Our partner, @tinkerhouseph , who generously provided the cutest slimes for our slime-making activity. 2. We also want to thank the teachers from V. Grasparil Elementary School who took the time to design the venue with colored prints – a very valuable staple in their far-flung community. They even prepared breakfast and lunch for the whole team, and we cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. 3. All Rays of Hope, most especially Polarix, Daphne Graparil, Debbie Monreal, Jesthin Velasco, Han De Guzman, Rochelle Velasco, Kharya Tiad, Patricia Delos Reyes, Reg Galang, Geegia, Rowena Sansolis, Cora Gangoso, Cherry Ignacio, Romella Nicolasa Marfil for the donations. Araw ng Libreng Komiks Bulilit Special 💛 In partnership with @comicodyssey and our community partner, the Ligid Tipas Taguig Jeepney Drivers Community, this program was created to give Bulilits a space to read, create, imagine, and simply be kids. For many of them, comics are not always accessible and creative spaces like these are rare. Araw ng Libreng Komiks Bulilit Special is baaack!! In partnership with @kitsforph , we’re creating a space for kids to read, create, and enjoy comics through storytelling, art, and fun activities. Featuring a special read-aloud session with Marbin Macalino, author and illustrator of Ang Una Kong Takbo ✨ Registration Starts at 1 PM. Kita kits at Robinsons Galleria this May 2, 2026!

Kits for PH joined forces with our partner teacher, Ma’am Alma Cecilia Lawagan, to bring more than just cleaning supplies, we brought stories, care, and community for the Brigada Eskwela 2025 at Antonio Regidor Elementary School ✨ 📖 A heartfelt storytelling session was led by Izza Arnaez, featuring “Kaya ni Mina”, a local picture book that teaches kids to respect and empower children with disabilities. The book was generously donated by its illustrator, Cy Vendivil. 🩺 Through Dr. Antonio Karlo B. Casinabe, we held a Health & Wellness Talk for parents, emphasizing the importance of proper meals (especially breakfast) and when to seek medical help to avoid spreading illnesses.We also hosted a free doctor’s consultation for the school community, a much-needed initiative since the school doesn’t have an assigned doctor. Teachers were among those who benefited most. This effort was made possible by the Kits for PH community: Stephanie Hainto,Izza Arnaez, Rica Arnaez, Dr. Anton Casinabe, and donations from generous rays of hope and, of course, the warm participation of Teacher Alma, the faculty, and students of Antonio Regidor Elementary School.
