This film is inspired by real women trapped in unimaginable circumstances, this film doesn’t shy away spitting the truth.

We are also raising money for Our House Community - Street Wise (Walton)
This is an amazing charity who runs a vital outreach programme to help and support women in street sex work.

I am so happy to finally be screening POUND OF FLESH at an exclusive press screening later this month.
I made this film because no one was ever going to hand me the chance. I grew up in the same world this film comes from, failed by school, failed by the system, watching people I love dragged into sex work, addiction, and survival. This isn’t fiction, it’s the trauma l’ve seen first-hand. I’m working class, queer, neurodivergent, and I’m sick of being told stories like ours don’t sell, or worse they are made by upper class filmmakers who are disconnected from reality. We had £700, a handful of working class filmmakers, and we made a film that’s raw, brutal, tender. This isn’t prestige cinema, it’s pure grit, and it’s punk as fuck

My last day at Hollyoaks after two years in the art department, and this has got to be the best leaving present ever.
