Got out to The Big Deck Show @propagandahqatx . My outfit showed off my heart surgery scar. 1 month after surgery. 😱 Crazy how fast the body heals, yet sometimes it feels so slow.
Obviously the scar is much longer, and you can catch a glimpse of my temporary gheart monitor because my Arrhythmia was acting up with a 130 resting HR one day. 😬
It was so good to get out. It really makes me want to create again. Getting the studio ready to start painting again next week to work on a potential commission as well as some new work. Hopefully some sculptural work can be done too.
Thanks again for the invite @richardrees2 hope to see you guys again soon.
It's going to be quite the scar. I appreciate the symmetry the surgeons made.
I am now 11 days post op. Back at home and recovering quite well, I just get winded really easily.

Smashed my toe something fierce. A story of progression. And the culprit trap that the movers left. Who does that? Who in their right mind puts a suitcase on shelves on a dresser in the bedroom????
1:30 am Tuesday 9/16 Moved the suitcase, down can't the shelves.
A trip to the ER at 4 am because the pain kept getting worse.
Still had to finish moving and clean the apartment 9/16. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Iced peas and pain medication saved the day. With a huge help being from Todd who took the day to help me out.
I loaded the last load of stuff today. Passed out. When I got home. Woke up at 7:30....PM... I was only supposed to be at work at 3 pm... 😱😬😵💫
Still have to unpack. Still have to unload my car.
Work a double shift tomorrow... At least my swelling is down enough that it's not 11/10 pain anymore. Now it's not like an 8 or 9. Constant throbbing,
The best thing that happened last night the official move day yesterday. Perfect snuggles with Punk. She stayed on the bed all night, even after I smashed my toes and started wailing and crying.
I did have to give her a shower because she peed in her cat cave. So new house, clean kitty.
I also passed 30k steps. 😵💫
Possibly broke my toes, have so much work to unload that I am in a functional freeze state that exacerbates the issue that I now can't seem to walk without screaming pain.
