Its been a LONG TIME COMING!!! 🙌🏾 I HUMBLY say THANK YOU because it absolutely is an HONOR to be HONORED, SEEN & CELEBRATED during BET AWARDS weekend at the @prbrunch with an AWARD for my contribution as a true media CHANGE MAKER✨, CULTURE CREATOR✨, and as an ENTERTAINMENT PUBLICIST✨, working alongside some of most ICONIC names in the industry, at times we are INVISIBLE, never fully appreciated, although we add so much value to the landscape of our clients legacy⭐️, undoubtedly we are fully aware that there is truly NO “I” in TEAM and we love to see our clients WIN! However, I had no idea until this weekend what impact I unknowingly had on so MANY other aspiring and successful industry professionals with their journey.🙏🏽 And lastly, getting acknowledged for being a part of history and opening doors (with @moniquejackson1 ) as one of the 1st black women to (Create, Executive Produce & Star in) a successful reality TV show for 3 seasons on a major network was no easy feat! The last few years have been ROUGH and I struggled with my own self-worth and imposter syndrome, however, with self care, excellent therapy (it works) & GOD as my GARDENER… my HARVEST 🌱 is HARVESTING Y’all!🙏🏽🙌🏾 So as I type this full of emotion🥹, I am Grateful to my VILLAGE, my amazing Hubby, my SONshine and my fab Sissy for all holding me down and being in the bldg… I literally and Physically Received my FLOWERS … 💐 an unforgettable moment is my client, friend, family and Grammy Nominated artist MAJOR. @nowthatsmajor 😘took the time out of his busy schedule to come and surprise me at the awards brunch and present me with FLOWERS!
