CLUB KNOWLEDGE SERIES #MOVING FORWARD AGE 16+ This session is for participants with prior experience in club and dance scenes who want to reflect on where the culture is heading and how we can shape it together. We begin with a listening session titled “Deep Cuts & House Foundations” by Ken Okuda. Through a curated selection of deeper tracks, he will dive into house music labels, sonic textures, and lesser-known influences, offering dancers tools to expand their musical awareness and dig further into the culture. Ken Okuda is a selector, music journalist, and researcher from Berlin, inspired by all styles of dance music. He co-founded the music collective, label, and sound system SHUSH, bringing a soulful touch to Berlin dancefloors. With a dedication to spinning vinyl and a keen ear for contemporary sounds, his sets move in numerous directions. Afterwards, DJ sets by Kekki and Danny Son open into a shared dance session.  Kekki Born in Finland and based in Stockholm, Kekki (she/her) lives and breathes house music. A true clubhead, she loves two-stepping in a dark corner of the club. With a sound rooted in deep and soulful house, Kekki brings emotion and groove to every set. Having played across Europe — from Sweden, Estonia, Norway, and Finland to Spain, the Netherlands, and France — she has built a reputation for delivering sets that make dancers lose themselves in the music. Danny Son Danny Son is a key figure in the German house dance scene and co-founder of House Roots, actively bridging community, club, and battle spaces while sharing his knowledge internationally as a mentor and teacher. Since starting in 2008 under the influence of Rabah Mahfoufi, his approach has been grounded in precision, depth, and musical integrity. In recent years, he expanded into music production and DJing, developing a sound rooted in the same values. His debut EP We Speak Fluently (2023, Industrial Light Recordings) was followed by Whispers of Sundown (2024) and False Prophets (2025), marking his growing presence within the scene.
