Quite apprehensive to shout out about this as I’m more than sure this is how far I’m getting in the process. But the fact that someone took the time to read a script of mine (alongside a poster I DEFINITELY cobbled together on Photoshop the day I submitted it) and gave it some form of recognition is very much appreciated/massive for me. Big thanks to @_slickfilms for choosing me for the longlist.
Even if I’m not successful, it’s been a huge incentive to actually get this film made.
Absolutely over the moon to be picked as one of the 4 Directors for the @filmhubnorth Film Generator programme. It’s taken me a while to post about it because the impostor syndrome is REAL! But can’t wait to get filming next month.
The picture is of a snowman I made on holiday, photographed on expired 35mm film. Note the orange peel for eyes and buttons. The whole thing obviously demonstrates my artistic & creative flair…😳
