i woke up yesterday morning with a bob dylan song in my head, fitting because @stavmcallister had put out an ep. ‘recorded at 344 brookhaven court’ it’s called, six of the most touching songs i’ve ever heard i went out to visit stav and judah at the beginning of this year, first time i’d seen them since we’d lived together and i was immediately back in a very familiar warm place. those guys are just good. stav and i spent a few days recording, cooking, listening to norah jones. their pull out couch was so god damn comfortable. i’m honored to have contributed to what became this collection of songs thank you stav for folding me into this one, for bringing me into a place where love is tangible and giving me the best seat in the house to see such fine musicianship at work

good afternoon! today there’s a cover tape out, boston (allston) artists covering other boston (allston) artists, and it’s really phenomenal. i’m proud to have contributed a cover of my dearest friend @wulferr ‘s ‘cat’, a song that never fails to make my heart swell. it also features @foxy.grandpa.band ‘s kickass rockin version of my own ‘some point in october’ <3 i have a whole lot of gratitude for this musical community and you can really hear the love woven between all these songs. to hear so many friends’ voices paying tribute to each other is truly heartwarming, i hope this finds a home in the ears of house show enjoyers near and far. you can find the album on bandcamp (link in bio) and all proceeds will go to @warmupboston , who do fantastic work serving unhoused folks in boston. thanks so much to @ohiostatefairband @katebushnightcore for organizing this, to @nickly_d for mastering, and to @cilantromusic & @saltygreyhound for the cover art. love is alive in allston, massachusetts<3

hello! got two shows coming up that i am incredibly excited for … first is next monday 11/3 opening for @theolllam at the sinclair !! grateful and proud to play at one of my favorite venues ever and a place very dear to my heart. second is at another place very dear to my heart, 11/10 at the sil with dearest @clifford_the_band and reuniting with @vegavvega_ who are now in sweet touring band formation. my mom will also be there so here’s your chance to buy my mom a gansett and in case you didn’t get to grab a kinship tshirt or cassette yet, i’ll have more of both available at these shows courtesy of @telescreenprinting & @alstroemeriatapes <3 tix for sinclair in my bio, tix for sil will be at the door! boston you are good.

hey! on wednesday some friends and i are gonna get together in the @yes.morts.resort living room to play some music. i for one am tremendously excited to have @old.pup in town all the way from milwaukee and to see and hear all time favorite @sophiemaewellington again. the late summer air of change before we buckle down for the fall is feeling especially dense this year. music’s been a great grounding thing though. hence my excitement for wednesday. you get it. message for the address and hopefully i’ll see you there ! best of luck to all those moving i’m rooting for ya

some good rest in chicago, tomorrow we head into the final stretch of showsss tomorrow (7/31) in columbus at @honeycupcoffeeco with an all star lineup @cornfedband @ohio.turnpike and @visitcoshoctonohio ! friday night (8/1) in pittsburgh at @remedypgh alongside the city’s sweetest @juliannawarnermusic @shayparkmusic and @ianianian_tunes saturday (8/2) in buffalo we rip at the North Boston Zoo aka the backyard of trusted adult @con_con_con61 , playing our usual set plus some oldies and songs by our very own @luke.diamondd @sixbulletdream and @maxdmorton and on sunday (8/3) we bring it all back home to play for the first time in rochester <3 big celebratory final show at @barbadending with @bugcatchermusic and a royyyy @sixbulletdream - tickets for this one in the bio take care of each other out there, free palestine, solidarity always <3
