There, death comes to an end, and life begins anew. Miyazaki loosely autobiographically recounts his childhood. PRINCESS MONONOKE on Wednesday, August 20, at 8:00 p.m. Ashitaka gets caught up in the battle between the Iron City and Princess Mononoke, who was raised by wolves and will do anything to stop humans from destroying her home with its spirits and gods.

We are showing TRONTHAIM: BERLIN – SYMPHONY OF A GREAT CITY (silent movie with live music) at the open-air cinema on Wednesday, August 13, at 8:15 p.m. In 1927, the Berlin public and critics were celebrating the documentary «Berlin - A Symphony of a Big City» by Walter Ruttmann, showing one day in Berlin at the end of the 20ies. Nach dem Film könnt Ihr auf der Terasse über den Film diskutieren: Eingecheckt im Hotel ohne Ausgang, in dem alle ewigen Gäste Normalität zelebrieren mit seltsamen Ritualen, entdeckt K, daß das Haus lebt.
