For a little over a year I took trips to Castine, ME to visit my best friend who was studying at Maine Maritime Academy. This space interested me due to its isolation, one road in one road out, and for its ability to consistently contrast my preconceived notion of place. Over the year I watched love grow, relationships harden, and perspectives change in a space where I originally thought dominance and stoicism would reign supreme. From spring to spring, I will forever cherish the moments that came from this project. Now here are some images from my thesis titled Blue Spring.
