With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our beloved Cousin, Flavio Estefan Fernandez. Flavio was born on June 1, 2002, to Estefan Fernandez and Michelle Ritchie. Beyond the love of his parents he is also survived by his Step-Father Billie Ritchie, many siblings from a large blended family, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that have became family over the years.
Flavio was known for his care-free, fun loving, goofy nature. Always ready to greet you with that handsome smile of his. Flavio was quick to lend a helpful hand when needed, and always carried himself in a respectable manner. Many have complimented how polite he could be.
Our family had high hopes of watching Flavio grow old, creating a family of his own, and thriving in a future that he was deserving of. Now we are faced with the unwavering truth that our beloved Flavio, has gone on to his next journey, dancing and rejoicing in heaven. At the young age of 23, Flavio Estefan Fernandez, was called home on September 20, 2025.
With this unexpected loss, I ask for all your prayers of comfort for the Fernandez and Ritchie families, and requests on their behalf any monetary contribution that you can assist with, to help ease some of the financial costs of laying their handsome Flavio to rest.
