CW: scars and healing from surgery
6 months post op!
I can’t believe 6 months have gone by already! It feels like yesterday but it’s also hard to imagine life with my old chest. I could not be more happy with the results and my decision to have top surgery. To say it’s been life changing would be an understatement. Thank you Dr. Ghumman of @mississauga.gracemed , @topsurgery for giving me the chest of my dreams. To finally feel at home in my body is such a gift and a privilege. Thank you to all who supported my fundraiser and made this possible, I am forever thankful to you. Thank you to my partner @kat_schouten for holding me before surgery was even a reality. Thank you for holding when it was. Thank you for caring for me as I healed and constantly telling me how much more confident I look. How I carry myself with pride and affirming who I am. I love you and couldn’t have done this without you ❤️
