Every day is a good day to escape into the Celestial Kingdom. Between the dragons & demons, the enchanted bows & fated quests, AND THEN THE LOVE TRIANGLE (Xingyin, Liwei and Wenzhi… what ever will we do with you?), the Daughter of the Moon Goddess sweeps us away every time. If you haven’t picked up this duology yet, we cannot recommend it enough! The story is so good and the writing so beautiful. In fact, we’d read just about anything Sue Lynn Tan writes.

One of ours is when Prince Yanming gives Xingyin the little paper dragon. And then that moment on the roof between Xingyin and Wenzhi (before the dragons and everything going sideways…)
