When I moved to LA 3 years ago, I was on a journey to find hobbies/communities that could help build my foundation in a new place away from a majority of my family and friends. This fall, I challenged myself to step out of my comfort zone with dance, trying harder styles and genres that I haven’t trained in since I was younger. Through this and the push/love/support from my friends, I feel like I’ve been rekindling with my identity as a dancer. So shoutout to my dance community, I love yall deep 🙂↕️🥰🫂🤍 I wanted to share some clips from rehearsals / classes bc I’m continuously inspired by the folks I dance with. This year was about pushing myself further as a dancer and being more intentional with growing in that craft. Thank you to all my choreographers this past season who helped me accomplish that goal and who continue to challenge/ guide me.
Been getting pretty good at the “waiting til I have clearance to post” bc I work on so many things where the NDA is TIGHT, but this was top 5 for sure! Growing up, Lion King was my favorite Disney movie (I’m talking diamond edition on VHS) and moving from NJ to LA 3 years ago, leaving behind my friends and family, I’ve been embarking on my own lil Lion King journey, so working on this last year felt very full circle 🤍🦋
This season was one for the books!

To my fellow dancers, I love yall and the love we share for dance. It’s a beautiful thing to be reminded of, and I love having a front row seat to witness all your gifts so often. (I could only tag 20 ppl so don’t h8 me 😅)
