🌍̲ H̲̲e̲̲m̲̲i̲̲s̲̲p̲̲h̲̲e̲̲r̲̲e̲🌍 is the name of my sophomore album- a patchwork glitch-pop odyssey containing Rotate, Lowe Sunsmasher and 8 other mental songs 💽 Its out April 12th and you can pre-order now on the @lostmaprecords bandcamp, where you can also get a lyric zine with artwork by @tenjeh for every song and an essay by Ian McCartney about the album ✍️ Making this album has taken a long time and I’m excited for everyone to hear it- beginning in 2021 recording samples in Denmark and finishing in Glasgow mixing with @jolon_yeoman and a lot of recording, re-recording, tweaking and adjusting automation in between 📼 The artwork is by the incredible @d_ctop whose work I’m obsessed with- go and check them out!! 🎨

When creating the glitch-pop masterpiece 𝘏𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, @kin___bote 's Matt Gibb wanted to go beyond a purely audio experience. And so assembling an incredible team of film-makers, artists, actors and collaborators, he set about creating a visual accompaniment to the album. The result is an expansive, complex and astonishingly ambitious feat of filmmaking. A full 45 minute film that plays alongside the album - a different video for each song, but each one building on the last to create a multi-layered, inter-connected narrative. Incorporating visual effect and computer generated graphics to create a dream-like mystery that warrants repeated viewing. 🌐 HEMISPHERE 🌐 The expansive glitch pop masterpiece from @kin___bote . Full visual album available to view now exclusively for members of our #PostMap club. Songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Matt Gibb is also an accomplished cinematographer and director, and put together a team of film-makers, artsits and actors to create a whole visual accompaniment to the album. The result was premiered at the launch party at the Glad Cafe in Glasgow last year, and a few individual videos are available to watch on our youtube. But now our #PostMap club members can enjoy the whole thing - an immersive cinematic feast that runs the full 47 minutes of the album. 10 individual videos and visualisers that link together into a single narrative that explores the themes of the album.
