Not done yet! Onto law school to become the real life Elle Woods👩🏻⚖️🎀
But seriously, choosing the University of Alabama was the best decision that I’ve ever made. These have been the best 3 years of my life despite everything that life has thrown in my way. There truly is no place like home. I’d say I’ll miss you guys, but I’ll be right back!😏 #seeyouinaugust #rolltide #magnacumlaude
Happy Birthday, Neave!!
I never would’ve thought that hearing about another girl during rush that’s from Virginia and also a Criminal Justice major would lead to this. Everyone who knows me knows my best friend, Sofia, but also Neave. Neave is more than my best friend. Beyond the typical “big/little” bond everyone has, I found a true little sister. From being the first person I call when I receive good news, to sitting in the hospital with me all night, to checking on me every single day during one of the hardest times in my life, and making me laugh when I’m crying, this bond is by far the best thing to come out of my experience at UA. You truly have one of the kindest and most compassionate hearts I’ve ever seen. Thank you for letting me be your big!! 💓
Words cannot even begin to express the gratitude I feel to be in this position. I am so beyond honored to be the first ever President of a collegiate sepsis awareness organization. This isn’t for me though. This is for the children like Lulu who were robbed of opportunities like this because of sepsis. This is for the 375,000+ adults in the U.S. alone who die every single year because of sepsis. To every person who has lost a loved one from sepsis , and every sepsis survivor, I will not rest until we put an end to the lack of knowledge of such a deadly illness. I would like to thank every single person at The University of Alabama who assisted me with this process , as well as my family and my friends. Most importantly, I would like to give all the credit and glory to God. From the beginning of my post-sepsis syndrome , and even after I was told to medically withdraw, I spent countless nights questioning why God would put me through something so horrible in what was suppose to be such a fun time in my life. I realize now it was all for a bigger purpose and that His plan is greater than mine ever was. Thank you Jesus for trusting me with this , and I will continue to trust you and honor you in my everyday life and through leading this organization. Let’s get this year started!
