My name is Eivind, I live in my mobilehome , and I’ve just released my song How Hard I Tried 🎹🚐
It all started when I invited drummer @kimofstad for a jam session in my van. A short Instagram clip from that moment unexpectedly went viral and passed 2 million views.After that, Kim invited me into the studio, and we finished How Hard I Tried together — even using actual audio from that original Instagram jam in the final track.Now we’re working on my album, and it’s actually almost finished… still hard to believe.The song is about the grief of having to leave my studies at Berklee College of Music. On my very last day, I unboxed a brand new keyboard — and this song came immediately. I’ve carried it with me ever since.It was recorded in Oslo with lyrics by @knutmariusdjupvik , trumpet by @paalfiks , Kim on drums, and vocals by @iammiketerrell 🇺🇸 who recorded from LA. Seeing musicians around the world react to the video and the song has meant more than I can say🙏🏻 It really hits home.
