The time is now.
It is impossible for me to summarise all the reasons why we need International Women’s Day. Globally, there is so much happening which is heart-breaking in addition to the challenges many women face everyday.
By recognising today we remind each other that we are here and driven by purpose.
My volunteer work with the Women’s Engineering Society (@womensengsoc ) and WES ECB (@wesecb )echoes similar themes to support women to achieve through education, to champion equal career opportunities as well to learn from each other’s lived experiences.
