How many ideas of yours have died to āperfectionismā?
Starting 2025, Iām gonna listen to my own advice: Just create.
Kinda like what I did with thisā¦ I just pointed and shot. I was a perfectionist to the point where I donāt even practise anymore. Thatās how hard I was on myself. Emphasis on WAS.
(I wasnāt even gonna release this. Notice how the framing of when Iām holding the camera isnāt symmetrical? I did. And it was gonna stop me. Along with a bunch of other technical flaws.)
This year Iām just gonna simply do. I donāt care anymore about what the negative voices in my head have to say - āitās too this, itās too thatā. Theyāre so loud I donāt even hear your voices sometimes. It definitely stopped me from hearing my Creatorās.
Biggest lesson for me this year?
