Echoes Across the Atlantic
28 October – 28 November 2025
2025 was filled with exciting moments, but arguably the most special one was my solo exhibition titled ‘Echoes Across the Atlantic’ at the Luxembourgish Embassy, London.
Being given the opportunity to show my most personal work: two series called ‘Odyssey of Reconnection’ and ‘Nations of the Atlantic’, alongside a retrospective look at some of my conceptual fashion photography.
Back in January 2023, I sat on the shores of Boa Vista, Cape Verde, writing down ideas for an exhibition that would use photography as a tool to connect, heal, and inspire through the art of storytelling.
A way of tying inspiration, aspiration, and education into a flow of interconnected photographic approaches: a celebration of the connections between input and output.
Echoes Across the Atlantic allowed me just that… combining a self-reflective body of work, a critical series, and artistic expression to coexist in one space and create dialogue between these approaches.
A journey I plan to continue, but for now I want to thank everyone who came to the opening. As usual, I fell short of taking photographs on the night, so thank you to everyone who shared their memories with me.
And special thanks to the Embassy of Luxembourg, the Ambassador, and the entire team for the opportunity and support every step along the way.

THE MET 2026 — Costume Art: “Fashion Is Art” 🦓🎨
The moment I realised what this year’s theme was and how in tune it was with my aesthetic as LIVING ART!
I set out to curate a look in dialogue with the Met Gala’s theme and dive into an exploration of fashion as a living and breathing art form. Art has consistently been intertwined into my life and in much the same way, fashion is my vocabulary and has always functioned as an extension of who I am!
The cocoon-shaped silhouette of the jacket draws inspiration from the extraordinary work of @thaihuy.tofficial particularly the exaggerated proportions engulfing the entire head. I saw this as a feeling of safety and shelter. And much like fashion I’ve always seen it as an armour and basically a sense of protection to be myself.
With my approached this concept, I wanted to pay homage to my club kid beginnings in the Birmingham drag scene when I started Gogo dancing. There is an intentional nod to the monochromatic narrative of my recent black and white London Fashion Week look made by @jennifermilleder but here reimagined with hints of vivid colour in the catsuit to create contrast and visual dynamism.
@thrillhausdesigns has once again truly knocked this creation out of the ballpark and has not only constructed a jacket-dress that holds its shape but a literal sculpture.
A massive thank you to @ash.bestos for rhinestoning the entire catsuit, and to @misskenyaknott and @itslolathorne for taking their time out of their busy schedule to come over to my yard in dedication to help me stone and embellish the entire giant jacket. It was definitely a time intensive process that was entirely worthwhile.
It was imperative that this shoot took place in the Birmingham; the city where Peppa was birthed, and I’d like to thank @fattbutcher for making the iconic @birmingham_mag possible. The staff were so very accommodating that morning and made sure that I was able to shoot within every inch of the space so thank you.
