It’s completely different to anything I’ve done before - not a baking book, not a graphic novel - but something a lot more personal. I poured so much of myself into these pages - it’s full of my own stories and ups and downs that I hope you will relate to… and the small but meaningful moments that make life feel a little bit more joyful.
It’s not about being perfect or feeling joyful all the time. It’s about being as much yourself as you can be, in the life you have.

What you need if you want to make this yourself:
Polyfilla/spackle
Paint (any paint will do, ideally nice thick paint. I used cheaper runnier stuff)
Cornflour (you may not need this, it’s just if it gets too runny to pipe)
Piping tips
Piping bags
Some plastic mixing bowls
A plain tissue box
Fake cherries
sorry you can’t eat this one… I know, I know 😭
But you can pull tissues out of it and cry with happiness that it’s so cute. And when you cry out of sadness, it’s your instant emotional support.

Inspired by my Bake Me a Cat book, and other recipes. These cats live far across the sprinkle sky, just beyond the Marshmallow Mountains. They work in a secret cat-run bakery serving up the cutest treats in the universe. Each meowgical baker is a sugary slice of joy waiting to be adopted by you!

Over 4 years ago, I created my original frog tang yuan design! I love the satisfyingly chewy texture of tang yuan, and I was thinking of a way to make it cute (as always). I imagined swishy frog legs, but never could have imagined just how sublimely swishy the swishy-ness could be. Squishy and swishy frogs.

In fact, the bath tub cracked the day before yesterday and a full bath tubs worth of water poured out so it was a panic. Now it probably needs to get out of the house but it took 5 men to bring it in the first place 😧 unless it can be fixed?! So who knows about the bathroom plans, might be a while until I can do it. What do you guys think about the bathroom plans by the way? The splat and ducks I think could be really cool but it’s a risk.

It’s been a busy month with being at Seattle a few weeks ago, so going to have some good kitten cuddles with inki and mochi, cake, and sleep after this! 🐈
Nothing beats the energy of a room where everyone is as baking obsessed as you are 🥺!! It’s like the bake off tent, except without the stress and heat.
If I rewound time to before I was on the bake off, and if I lived in Seattle, this is where I’d be hanging out!!! Just seeing my bakes and baked critters in the wild is so magical.
