Sa pelikulang to, kitang-kita kung gaano ka-layered ang acting ni Vice. Yung comedy? Natural, effortless, hindi pilit. Yung drama? May isang scene dun na talagang lumabas yung sakit and pagmamahal ni Twinkle kay Angelo noong kukunin na siya...
Hindi niya kinain ang eksena niyakap niya. Vice allowed the story and the other actors to shine, and that’s what made the performance even more powerful. Walang overacting.
Kudos pa rin sa buong cast for matching that level of authenticity, and huge respect sa director for trusting Vice Ganda with a role that demanded depth, vulnerability, at tapang. The direction gave space for emotions to breathe, and Vice filled that space perfectly.
And this is where the magic truly lives. Vice Ganda has this rare gift alam mo kung ano yun? the ability to make people laugh, then slowly, gently, break their hearts, and somehow heal them at the same time. Hindi lahat ng artista kayang gawin ’yan. That’s star power, talent, and soul combined.
