Happy Birthday to one of the most incredible women I know. 🎂✨
@kimdow511 — where do I even begin.
From photo shoots and bad jokes to LFC happy hours, to the long conversations about entrepreneurship and life that leave me feeling seen, inspired, and ready to take on the world — you have become so much more than a client, classmate, or colleague. You are a friend, a role model, and a mentor I genuinely treasure.
You walk into every room with this energy that just lifts people. You have built something truly special with @sassmagazine and you do it with so much heart, grit, and grace. Watching you has made me a better business owner and a braver woman.
I am so grateful our paths crossed and even more grateful they keep crossing. 🤍
I hope today is as extraordinary as you are — because Kim, you deserve that and so much more.
Happy Birthday, you absolute badass. 🥂
I know I don’t post a ton on social media. Honestly, I’ve been trying to be more present in the moments I’m living, which means I often forget to post while I’m experiencing them (or even after). So instead, here’s a little highlight reel of some pretty great moments from the past year.
I’d love to hear one of your favorite memories from 2025 or a goal you’re setting for 2026 — feel free to share in the comments.
A few of my favorite personal (not business) moments from 2025:
February: A trip to the Bay Area — staying in a magical treehouse, walking through the Redwoods, spotting elephant seals on the coast, and spending quality time with some of my favorite bosses.
April: A spring break road trip with Jimmy to Guntersville Lake, Alabama. A new state, Unclaimed Baggage, visits with friends, and quality time with Jax the dog.
May: Celebrating my nephew Tyson graduating with his master’s degree at my alma mater, Salisbury University. So proud of him — and such a fun trip down memory lane.
June: My first Nationals game with my family (and yes, we absolutely made fools of ourselves). Also a road trip with friends to upstate New York — and my first time driving into Canada.
August: A sisters-and-mom road trip to Edisto, South Carolina. Charleston day trip, driftwood beach, and a backyard alligator we affectionately named Alex… or Alexandra.
September: Mrs. Roper Romp in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. I was completely unprepared for how amazing this event is and will absolutely be back every year.
October: MotoCross of Nations. A road trip to Indiana with stops in Ohio, staying at the BrewDog Doghouse Hotel, exploring Indianapolis, watching the best motocross riders in the world, and spending time with some of our favorite people.
Late October: Attending the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Summit — meeting inspiring entrepreneurs from across the country, hearing Martha Stewart speak, and visiting Capitol Hill.
All in all, it was a pretty great year. Feeling grateful and excited to see what 2026 brings.
PART 2 of 2: 2023 was a great year, full of lots of travel, new adventures, and time spent with family and friends. Just got back from an amazing cruise vacation with @70diesel and the family. We didn’t take a lot of photos because we were having too much fun, but we managed to snap this gem from our balcony! I think it captures us perfectly! 🤪

Meet our newest family member, Chop! @70diesel and I have been rescuing pitbulls for almost 20 years now. Chop still has puppy energy but is incredibly sweet and craves love and attention. We can’t wait to get to know him better, build up his confidence and fatten him up a bit (he was found as a stray and is very skinny!). So far he loves playing with his new best friend, Jax (our other pittie)!
