@ninevoltleap presents
Dreamwave, Bite The Buffalo, Kill Mirror Image
Friday 22 May. 7pm. @thebellinnbath Back Bar. £10
Dreamwave return to the West Country for a rare show in Bath. Fresh from a sold out show at The Garage in London supporting Frankie & The Witch Fingers, the band’s latest EP ‘Drifter’ via Stolen Body Records is set to be their most expansive yet. The effort doubles-down on their exploration into ‘Neo-Psychedelia’; pushing and pulling between Garage-Rock and Dream-Pop. The EP has received praise across BBC 6 Music, and has earned a fan in Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley). They have shared stages with The Bug Club, Wine Lips, Ghostwoman & Wombo. A must-see FFO early Osees and B-52’s
Bite the Buffalo is a Bath-based garage-rock duo renowned for their raw, uncompromising sound and dynamic live performances. Combining monstrous riffs, stomping drums and macabre melodies, they deliver music that is both visceral and powerful.
Kill Mirror Image - fat, loose and fast post-punk trio from Bath. One of the city’s most exciting live bands.
Nine Volt Leap has been run by Dominic Bailey for over 15 years. The studios aim is to work closely with bands and to record a true representation of the music the bands are delivering, enhancing the sonic character of their live performances and adding the extra glitter the songs require.

Bite The Buffalo -
Fuzz-riddled, thunderous rock from a brother duo.

Many, many thanks to @komedia_bath for having us and our pals to play on the big stage on Friday! It was a great turn out for the Bath music scene on the first proper weekend of January!
The crew & staff at Komedia are legends, especially the tech team and I love that they give local bands a chance to play their lovely venue. So great to see people singing along and having a mosh, it means a lot to see people loving our tunes so thank you all for coming!
We had a blast supporting @merylstreek_ and playing alongside @1000legs@mute_tv_@l_e_a_t_h_e_r_s@quickromanceband & @crooked_sn0ut - you were all amazing and made the night so much fun!
We’ll be back this Saturday with 1000 Legs at the Bell. We may even play some new stuff we’ve been working on too!
Our next Young Loud & Snotty presentation on 17th January, happening at Back Bar at The Bell Inn, Bath, BA1 5BW, will be our first of 2026.
We will be bringing you two excellent bands…
@1000legs who will be making their YL&S debut. Mixing elements of The Pop Group, The Birthday Party, Bone Orchard, jazz chords and free form wrestling, 1000 Legs are a party of limbs, synths and guitars erupting from an oh-too-small-to-contain-them stage. They play with the claustrophobic intensity of the band from The Titanic on a sinking makeshift raft. Wear body armour and prepare for turbulence.
@killmirrorimage
Opening with “Asteroid”, the Pearl & Dean theme from the cinemas of the 1970s, KMI are a jaw-dropping Math rock sound journey that doesn’t let up. Shaped by influences from Gang of Four, Talking Heads and The Pop Group, KMI are trapeze artists on the ground, and they are quite a circus. Come and behold them.
Plus the Young Loud & Snotty DJs will be playing junkshop glam, punk, new wave, power pop, rock ‘n’ roll and all things YL&S.
ADVANCE TICKETS on SALE here, slightly cheaper at only £4.40!
