Made in a classic red, it’s perfect for Valentine’s, or any event. Honestly, this bolero looks stunning in any colour! It’s the perfect cover-up for any outfit from fancy to casual! This stunning bolero also comes in three, that’s right, THREE different sleeve options. You can make this in long, 3/,4 or short sleeves. You know what that means? This bolero works for all 4 seasons! Imagine the short sleeve in Summer, the 3/4 is a great transitional sleeve from Spring to Summer, and the long sleeve is perfect for the colder months!
The Ava Bolero is knit in DK-weight yarn, but you can also use a light worsted, as long as you can get the proper gauge.
Trust me, you will want one of each! So, let’s get knitting!

My latest creation: The Raven Sweater Coat. I designed this for myself and will not be recreating the pattern. It is fully designed by me. It's inspired by a 1940s shawl collar sweater.

I had a sweater design stuck in my head (for me)... Then I started making it. This is the back. Can you guess what it is?
I designed the chart for the image.

It begins again! Let me know if you want to be added to my list of test knitters. All patterns are bust 34" to 56". The patterns are knit vintage style - flat.
This is a summer pattern that is fairly easy, as long as you have knit cables before.
Please PM me if interested.

I now have sparkly red cable knit mitts to go with my red cable knit hat. However, I now need a red sparkly cable knit hat. LOL

Bob Dobbs vest for my husband. I used a chart for Bob, but made everything else up as I went. Made lots of notes for the next one I make him.
Praise Bob!
I will get some photos of @zoltandulac wearing the vest soon and post again.

Hello all. I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year's.
I have had to come to a tough decision about Patreon. I have thought about this repeatedly. Unfortunately, after February, I will no longer be able to do Patreon projects. I was hoping that at some time down the road, I would come back to it, but it isn't the direction I am taking creatively. I am now focusing on writing and research for novels, short stories, and another related project, which I will announce in the future.
All said, rather than pause billing at the end of February, it will be easier if current paid subscribers, unsubscribe from the monthly paid version of Patreon. I will still use Patreon to sell the occasional knitting pattern, possibly some vintage ones. My worry with pausing billing, as I get deep into writing and research, I may forget to pause, and those who are paid subscribers to get charged. I'd rather that not happen to you.
If you still want to get the February patterns, cancel your membership on Feb 2nd. You will still have access for the month. Please also download the patterns before February 15th.
Thank you for coming along on this Haslam journey with me. xoxox
