Set in suburban Guangdong, 𝙎𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 follows Yan, who visits a chicken processing plant, triggering an unsettling physical change, as a bird flu quietly descends in town. 𝙎𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 weaves a tale of labor and class through the lens of a compact coming-of-age story, blending genre cinema and body horror into a visually bold and unforgettable experience centered on a vividly complex protagonist. 🙌🏻 A huge shoutout to the creative team who helped bring this tale to the screen, and many thanks to Berlinale Generation for this recognition. We can’t wait for audiences to experience this tense, original, and visually striking short! 🌍 Proudly presented by 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗫 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺𝘀

We won an Oscar! I mean, kind of! “Kubrick, Like I Love You” won the bronze prize at the 52nd Student Academy Awards. What an amazing night and unforgettable 4 days! Thank you @theacademy for curating such inspiring experience, and to give us such honorable recognition. Taking the trophy from the hands of @jonmchu was an electrifying moment, and it’s trailblazers like him and the great @lucyliu - who I was lucky and humbled to have met after the ceremony - and many other inspiring figures at the events that night, that will keep urging younger generation filmmakers on to make more unique works that resonate with the world. For all 14 of us, it’s a beautiful conclusion of something very special, yet also the start of a brand new journey that is completely unknown, and thus exciting. I think we will have fun on it.

TO KILL A MONGOLIAN HORSE-г 5 сарын 9-ний 19:00 цагт Тэнгис кино театрт үзээрэй. 🎫Тасалбар захиалах: https://www.tengis.mn/film/ggifftokillamongolianhorse ________________ Saina tries to make ends meet as a herdsman in the wintery steppes of Inner Mongolia. While performing at night in breathtaking horseback shows, he by day takes care of his family’s horses while juggling a grumpy father and his dysfunctional relationship with his ex-wife and kid. Unlike the majestic cavalryman he portrays in the show, Saina must discover how the world he grew up in has dramatically changed. An intimate portrait about masculinity in crisis from a female perspective. Don't miss the opening film of this year’s Golden Ger Film Festival, TO KILL A MONGOLIAN HORSE, screening on May 9 at 19:00 at Tengis Cinema. 🎫Book tickets: https://www.tengis.mn/film/ggifftokillamongolianhorse A film by @amantalik Via Golden Ger International Film Festival | Distributed by @sayanpictures #GGIFF2025 #АлтанӨргөөКиноНаадам2025 #ToKillAMongolianHorse

🎞️ Vorstellung: Samstag, 26.
