My senior TIMARA recital is happening next Sunday, April 5th, at 7:30pm in Stull!
I’ve been making a large embroidered tapestry “synth” inspired by Colcha embroidery, an embroidery style (and stitch) specific to Northern New Mexico. There will be a performance, and then I will open up the space as a short installation where you can play the tapestry as well!
Along the Acequia, I remember doors, water, farolitos, wagons, dirt, and mermaids.
