It’s time to wish a Happy Birthday to my best friend and your favorite Crocodile. Give some love to Brandon. He’s a national treasure; the street poet who’s always got a song to sing and a joke to tell. He’s been inspiring me since we were teenagers. Our roots go back to activism and hardcore and he’s never strayed from what’s real and in his “fucking heart.” Love you, buddy.

Still feel in shock writing this. Gregg was a wonderful person. A music lifer who put his heart and soul into his creativity. You could always rely on him for great music conversation, a great joke or an ear to hear out your problems. It’s clear from all the posts how many lives he touched and it gives comfort. I’m so glad we got to collaborate several times over the years. You will be missed Gregg ❤️

Crocodiles - After a prolonged hiatus, Crocodiles finally reconvened at Quiksilver Studios in St. Jean de Luz, France in the fall of 2021 to get their new album Upside Down In Heaven down on tape. Maxime Smadja (Rixe, Boss) was entrusted with production duties and brought his signature greasy sheen to the proceedings. Joining the party were Atef Aouadhi and Diego Dal Bon on bass and drums. In typical Crocodilian fashion, the album zig-zags cohesively from one style to the next. There are straight-up punk-pop anthems (Love Beyond The Grave), mutant garage-rock (Surfing With Death), infectious fuzz-pop (Forever Walk Alone), dance-floor ready bangers (Deadbeat) and even hardcore death-rock (Rock & Roll Graveyard). The songs are direct, cut to the chase and leave listeners thirsting for more.
