Decades after being discouraged away from playing guitar, @killchain.hc guitarist @kelseyleah is finally crushing out metallic hardcore riffs on her band’s debut demo.
Speaking with Gut Feeling, Kelsey and co-guitarist @christian_frizzelle dip into the origins of the new project, from Kelsey picking up a Jackson to start fretting out Obituary songs, to showing off “raw, to the point” riffs to her friends and accidentally forming a band in the process. Some gear talk, too, and Kelsey recalls screaming gang vocals during a @meraudernyc set.
