Every year I speak about gratitude - it’s something I truly practice everyday, but this year I am more grateful than EVER. I’m so grateful for my refinement through my fortunes, but also my tribulations that have shaped me into the woman that I am today. I look around me & I’m surrounded by inspiration, love, & peace. These are the true luxuries of life!
There were many days when I thought I couldn’t persevere… God lifted me up & He guided me through it all. Without Jesus Christ I would not have a single thing. Let my life be a testament to turn to Him during the good, the bad, & the uncertain.

02.12 my big baby turned 16‼️😩 You really don’t know betrayal until you look around & your kid(s)/parents are way older than you remembered them to be (if that makes sense)😅 & you’re just in the middle feeling like time has barely passed…
I have so many friends with infants/toddlers now, & it’s the most heartwarming thing seeing them as parents, but I’ve also been missing those stages of my teenage giant a lot lately. There’s so much I wish we could redo, snapshot memories I wish we could revisit just for a moment…
I know there’s SO much going on & much more in store for you, my son - and yes, you’re closer to adulthood than infancy - but in my mind & heart you will always be my sweet baby boy. Happy Super 16! 🤱🏻

Funny enough, the babies are all teething & my son’s wisdom teeth are coming in, so I guess we’re kinda in the teething phase again too 😂🤷🏻♀️ I’ll take it!

Still needed to take the time to honour the mothers & really shine a light on all that we do…
I love my son so much. Becoming a mother saved my life. It made me whole. To this day, it changes me in ways that take me by surprise & I have so much pride in the title.
My pastor said that mothers are some of the greatest intercessors & that not only made me reflect on how I advocate for my son, but also how my mother, my grandmothers, & all the other mothers in my village have interceded for me. The guidance & protection of all motherly figures is uncontested & truly irreplaceable.
It feels heavy, looking into the eyes of the destinies we birthed; knowing what falls on our shoulders. At times it’s so scary, at times your heart is broken, but still we continue to push forward in faith. We face so many unpredictable wars with our children, all whilst dealing with our own - & yet we show up, facing each battle as the determined ✨warriors✨ we are.
Mamas, just remember who you are & what you were picked for when you were chosen for your child(ren). You have more strength than you think & have the power to stand in the gap on behalf of your village.
Keep fighting, keep loving, & keep praying ❤️🔥 YOU GOT THIS! 🤱🏻
