This Saturday we have a very special pop up event during the day to launch the promotion of the @mirage.tw festival which returns in September. In collaboration with @outandabouttw it will take place 2pm-10pm in Yangmingshan mountains hosted at @siusiu.lab (check their page. Beautiful venue). Headlining the day will be the French sensation and @groovytuderecords head honcho @baccusdj who will be joined our Mirage / Out & About residents. Tickets are 600NTD on the door or 400NTD with Out and About discount. Ayyyye, this Saturday there is something special brewing with a massive double header coming up! 2-10pm @outandabouttw at @mclub.maritime 9-5am @greenhouse_effect_tw at @thehook_taipei We have been putting in the graft building up our community again, and we have brought it to a beautiful space where all egos can be put to the side and we can combine forces, collaborate and make magic happen! It has been a breathe of fresh air collaborating with both these teams. Everyone on the same page, with the same vision, and everything just easy. Beautiful. How it’s meant to be! Always a privilege, never a chore! (Shout out Stephen Kelly) 😆 The man @nathanalzondj is back in town! The man who had the balls to take a risk and jump overseas, chasing his dream, and doing amazing things! I hope everyone can come and show him a lot of love and respect for what he’s been doing! And you know he will absolutely have the dancefloor on lock! On top of that we have some French royalty in the form of @houseum_ - his YouTube channel was one of my first I came across when I got into this all a few years back and it’s been a go to ever since for finding the freshest house music. Beyond that he’s an immense DJ and music collector. I got to meet him in Hong Kong a couple years back (shout out my man @__saint_bernard ) and even got to do a little back to back which meant more than anyone ever knew to have that opportunity given I was just new to the scene. And this set the wheels in motion for him coming to bless us this weekend. I can’t wait to see my people grooving to his music! And lastly, but not least, we are going to have all my boys stacking both line ups. It’s been a joy watching all these guys grow and develop and having sick sounds and gaining a reputation in the scene. Will be playing back to back with my man @pierreberthomier 5-630pm then 9-11pm. Looking forward to playing at @thehook_taipei for the first time. The people running it know how to set up a club space. There will also be some food and face painting during the day. So bring your people. Your friends, partner, kids, gran, and even your dogs!

Our first @outandabouttw was a good success, even if it was fucking baltic conditions. My good Taiwanese people were doing their best to enjoy the day as much as they could, but I could see the pain in their faces as the cold wind smacked them about 😆 Always good fun going back to back with my man @pierreberthomier - even if our mixing was shoddy, our song selections saved our asses. Gutted for @dzrtfrst and his situation. After all the efforts he put into this event, that was a kick in the bollocks, but he knows not to worry. We will do some events and fundraisers to clear that fine. Without him none of this, and the future ones, would happen. Shout out to @dante_illm & @anidiomabroad @grayton.systems - your generosity of letting us use your equipment is hugely appreciated! Lastly, our people who come to dance and always bring the vibe. We have a great small core group of proper music lovers always supporting, you guys are the true MVPs! And kudos to all that brought something for the community table. The whole purpose of this event is to build up a community. We’re on the right path! The next edition will be the 14th March, and the conditions will be much warmer! 🙏🏼 Happy CNY when it comes 🧧 🐴

The second edition of the @greenhouse_effect_tw was another good one! What a perfect mix of all the right people and staff to create the perfect vibe. Proud of my man @comoshinzo_tw and what he’s doing with this vision of his! First time at @chinatownskybar too - what a beautiful venue. Looking forward to some more collaborations there! This Saturday the second installment of the @greenhouse_effect_tw is happening at @chinatownskybar - check out the second slide to get a look at the stunning venue, with a glorious rooftop! The first edition was legendary. If flyers are anything to go by then this will be even better. You already know this will have the vibe and energy that you’re going to want to immerse yourself in. I will be playing back to back from 1pm-230pm with my brother @dan.ge2.0 @dimola.music with some relentless groove. My boys @comoshinzo_tw @pierreberthomier @tookietookiehere @kevin______ab & @spitdaddyyy are going to be blessing us with their latest digs. And don’t worry about needing to eat. Berthom b2b Kiko Barraza at The Mirage Festival Taiwan – Link in bio   Ayyye, so Pierre and I are finally getting a little bold stepping out of our shy little comfort zone, sharing a set for the first time that we played for The @mirage.tw Festival out in the most stunning and picturesque setting within @lofi_land during the afternoon into evening sunset hours.   We went on a journey channeling various styles of house music with euphoric progressive, techy, 90s nostalgic trancey, vocal ridden, spaceship trippy sounds layered with punchy electro melodies.   It’s raw, rough around the edges, and not mastered, but I think it turned out alright in the end as it took us a few songs to find our groove and get that spaceship properly up and running. Hope you enjoy it!

The @mirage.tw festival – 1st Edition   Man, what a fucking festival experience that was!   The most unbelievably picturesque venue. The most beautiful stages. The cleanest sound system. The coolest artists. The best people, and the greatest vibes imaginable.   To see the teams vision to begin with, and then to watching all the blood, sweat and tears to make it become a reality was such an inspiring thing to be around.   I especially loved the energy around the place all weekend. Watching everyone just get lost in the music, making new friends, and creating memories they’ll always cherish is the best thing. To watch all the artists immersing themselves in the festival, mingling with my people, and just vibing together was even more beautiful.   From a personal perspective I really needed this festival. I honestly had planned to get this out the way and then just step away from the scene and channel my energy and time elsewhere. I had become very disillusioned with it all, and had been struggling a lot with life in general the last year, feeling very lost. But this has inspired me in so many ways, and now I got my mojo back and am going to start plotting some dope ass ideas!   Anyways - some shout outs & thanks, @bernie.bright_ @j.azzmusician @yellow_snap_ – tipping my imaginery hat to you guys. Thank you for delivering the most beautiful festival – easily the most impressive thing I have ever been amongst. And thank you for involving me and giving me the opportunity 🙏🏼   @g_loon & team – Thank you for letting us use your Lofi Land paradise – just a jaw dropping venue.   @comoshinzo_tw & team – outrageous and ICONIC stages. Say less! @hikariaaa & Sound / Lighting team – on point all weekend. That 360 degree sound set up was so clean and crisp on my ears.   The @chevry_agency crew of @vitess.music @emma____b____ @occibel___ . I knew when I booked these they would be amazing, but they blew my expectations out the water, and showed me there are some serious levels to the art of DJing/Performing. Mostly played their own productions too. Hella inspiring. And my man @baptiste.dubois – appreciate the efforts of you, and the trust! *continued in the comments*
