If there’s one thing that I absolutely loved about Addis Ababa, it was all the lights!!! They built a Dam, so there’s electricity in excess and it just makes the city so damn beautiful. A close second, were the uniform street lamps all over the city. If anyone takes a picture in Addis, you know where they are simply cos of the lights.
Third thing I really liked? Enjera. The flat bread. I’m not a foodie so it’s not very often that I visit a place and like the food.
Ethiopian red wine was a very pleasant discovery as well. It was soooo good!

As a nature girlie, visiting Mount Entoto and hiking in Entoto park was an absolute must for me.

When they told me about a “water dance” in the friendship park in Addis Ababa, for some reason I imagined that it’d be Ethiopian women dancing with water. It turned out to be actual water fountain displays in rhythm to the music.
It was beautiful.
