If youâve ever wondered how I organize my shoots, what the behind the scenes looks like, and how the final photos turn out, hereâs the answer.
1. Call with the client
2. Creating the moodboard, including timetable and locations
3. Assistant for BTS content and support during the shoot
4. Good vibes and always hungry for new shots

The bike as a lifeline.
To Jan, itâs more than sports equipment. Itâs his âFluchtfahrzeugââthe vehicle that carried him away from drug abuse and back to himself.
âI donât need to think about getting on the bike and training as if my life would depend on it,â Jan says.
Because for a long time, it actually did.
This short film by @tom.kieslich explores the intersection of structure, resilience, and mental health. Itâs time we take the stigma off the struggle and start talking about the recovery.
Major respect to @janherrmanncc for opening up.

âI train as if my life depends on it. Because it does.â
This isnât a film about cycling. Itâs a film about the way out.
Coming soon: Fluchtfahrzeug. A raw look at Janâs journey from the depths of drug abuse to the structure of the ride.

Stay tuned for the full release.
The desert doesnât care. No shade. No structure. No rhythm. Just heat during the day, cold at night, and a body slowly wearing down. Somewhere out here, time starts to blur. Sleep becomes optional. Everything feels delayed, heavy, unreal. And still â you try to capture it. Shooting in between stops. Editing in the car. Dust on everything. No signal. No real pause. Youâre not outside of it. Youâre inside the same exhaustion. Maybe thatâs why it feels different. Because nothing is controlled. Nothing is clean. Just moments, happening once, and gone again. This is the second part. @thespeedproject@sophiasbolte

LA to Las Vegas. No rules. No crowds. No spectators.
Just a line through the desert â and the question of how far a body can go.
@sophiasbolte runs it solo.
We stay next to her. @txlea@ehhhr
No shortcuts.
This is where it starts.
What pulls me into this isnât just the run.
Itâs the feeling around it.
I think a lot about how this kind of work will age.
When you look back at photos from past decades, thereâs always something you canât recreate â
the way people looked, how they moved, the energy of a moment in time.
This feels like that.
The Speed Project exists somewhere outside of time.
Raw. Unpolished. Always changing.
You canât force it.
You just have to be there when it happens.
And maybe, years from now,
these images will still carry that feeling â
something honest, something specific,
something that makes you stop for a second.
This is the first part...to be continued!
