This Residential rain garden features Mangave ‘Mission to Mars’ as the focal planting, paired with grasses and layered textures to support stormwater capture, seasonal movement, and habitat value. Spring blooms invite pollinators, bringing the space to life.

🌿 Spring growth is looking great at our recent landscape project! Located in a high fire hazard zone in Ventura, this low income apartment community required a thoughtful approach using small growing plant material that meets safety guidelines while still creating a beautiful outdoor environment.
Our wildfire resilient design focuses on low growing plants that help reduce fire risk, maintain defensible space, and provide year round texture and color.
Even with strict planting limitations, smart landscape design can create attractive, functional, and safer spaces for residents to enjoy.
