"This will be a one-night activation in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, unfolding inside a repurposed ground-floor office space. In the Site Seen tradition, the exhibition holds the structure and residue of the space’s former life in place, allowing the work to exist alongside it rather than overwrite it. It’s a tight environment, and every work included is there with intention."

I am so excited to be part of the upcoming group show at Bank Art gallery @bankartgallery curated by @shirleynoto with an amazing group of artists.
This gorgeous space has been recently renovated to reserve original details and bank vaults, while supporting contemporary artists.
I'm showing two smaller paintings for the first time, as well as two older huge paintings- which I had to stretch in the gallery 😂
The opening is this Friday from 6-9 pm and the exhibit will be open to the public until May 31st.

I made this ceramic sculpture in my last semester in the MFA program at Brooklyn college @brooklynmfa in spring 2022.
Its felt unfinished until now.
I collected my rejection letters from the past couple years and did image transfers to create a skin for this abstracted figure.
