2 of KCA talents, Marvelous and Godwin Egbo star in @theacademy awards selected movie “My Father’s Shadow”, a film directed by Akinola Davies Jr., has been selected to compete at the Oscars. Set in Nigeria, it was shot on location with a majority Nigerian cast and crew. A British-Nigerian co-production, it was financed through UK partners, and so was submitted by the UK to compete for Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards. In May, “My Father’s Shadow” became the first title from Nigeria to debut at the Cannes Film Festival as part of its official selection.
