It's National pet day and I'm gonna shout out Kidden once more because she deserves it for the joy she adds to each and every day. I'm so grateful for her. Shout out to my Rinoa up at the Rainbow Bridge too.. we sure do miss you and will always cherish the time we had with you. These 2 have been my rock through it all the last 17 years. My best friend and sweet little angel Rinoa has made her way to that Rainbow Bridge in the sky. It's hard to believe I've spent a week without her already.. 'Normal' life doesn't seem so normal without you here Ro. You are sorely missed. I remember 17 years ago when I had a choice in a litter full of kittens. However it wasn't a choice really because YOU chose me, and I'm sure glad you did. To receive your unconditional love and support was truly a blessing. You saved me. YOU saved my life. I need you to know that. I wouldn't be here still without you. Thank you my queen. Thank you for the laughs, the cuddles, the nose-licks, the headbonks, the scratches that turned to scars, the ungodly amount of cat hair you coated me in lol, and so much more. You inspired me to always push through, that I could always prevail no matter what the circumstances are. A lesson I will carry with me the rest of my life. It wasn't just my life you touched either. Everyone who met you took some healing home with them. They are all grateful as well. I encourage anyone who met Rinoa to share some favorite stories or memories with me, I would love to hear them. This is the hardest post I think I've ever had to make, sitting here a crying mess.. and that is okay. You taught me that. It will be okay. And while you're not physically here to comfort me in this present moment, I feel your spirit here with me.. Forever and always.. I LOVE YOU!!!! 🤍♾🌈

I'm asking everybody to say a prayer for my sweet kitty Rinoa. She has been struggling the last few weeks, and her condition has gotten worse this last week. I'm doing everything I can to find out what it is that is affecting her quality of life. I have started a go fund me for her [LINK IN MY BIO] to help with the costs of some cancer screening she will undergo this week.
