Our two new songs GRAY HARBOR & ALGAS MARINAS are out now everywhere digitally for streaming!
Gray Harbor is a shoegazey gay love song inspired from bits of lyrics taken from the graphic novel The Montague Twins Part 2 The Devils Music. We’ve been playing this live for a while,but we finally took to recording it this past January
Algas Marinas is a short ambient track built form guitar loops, sound design and bass and was the final song I recorded living in Austin. I’ve been mixing on and off since 2022 just waiting for the right time and song to release alongside it
This is our first release since our EP last August, we’re very excited to share these with you all and for more of what we have in the works right now

We’ve been performing Gray Harbor for a while now if you’ve been to a Kid Atomic show you’ve likely heard it. We finally got to recording it this past January
Algas Marinas is the last song I self recorded while still living in Austin back in 2022 and has been sitting on my computer for a very long time before Nick and Mito even joined the band

Today is @omerito135 ‘s bday, he holds it down for us on the drums and on percussion when needed. He makes mine and Nick’s lives one million times easier with all that he does for Kid Atomic on and off stage. Burly//GhostBike is 1 week old!
I’ve already said thank you countless times to everyone who supported us these couple past weeks but truly I can’t express how grateful I am enough
It’s out everywhere now for steaming and we still have plenty of CDs and cassettes for sale

Our EP Burly//Ghost Bike is out now and available for streaming
In 2016 I wrote a collection of songs for a 100 day song challenge. Burly and Ghost Bike were two from that set that survived and worked their way to the live set
At Kid Atomic’s first live full band set and at many shows afterwards these two songs were how we opened the show
The looping in Burly took many forms before it got to this point. Ghost Bike as well has changed so much from its initial conception
Ghost Bike Alt. is an alternate version of Ghost Bike marrying the structure and harmony of the song with the lyrics and subject matter of Burly. It’s an idea I had ages ago but wasn’t able to pull off till last year 2024
This is a deeply personal EP that took way longer than I wanted but I couldn’t release these songs till I improved at mixing and felt I could do them justice
An enormous thank you to my bandmates present @omerito135@im_morninghog and past who helped with these songs, to my recording engineers @nicksholocron@creativecaverecordingstudio , our graphic designers and my friends and family who supported me along the way. As well as anyone who’s listened to anything I’ve recorded or live and stuck with us along the way
In August 2020 I was very certain I would never be releasing music again, maybe even playing it. It feels very cathartic to be finally releasing it into the world
