The Kicking It x Adidas Gazelle Indoor “Live Music” 🎸 For our 1st collaboration with Adidas, we poured Austin’s rich history into this silhouette. Known as the Live Music Capital of the world, we appreciate & respect the people & talent that has walked through the city of Austin. Many of which made their way through Antone’s Home of Blues venue that was established in 1975. The mural of Muddy Waters was created by Nate “Sloke One” Nordstrom and Chris Rogers & has become a staple in the 512 & now marks the color blocking of the “Live Music” Gazelle Indoor. As @hustontillotsonuniversity stands as the 1st institution of higher learning in the city, it’s also marked as @dr.greg.grovey Alma Mater. While the University produces graduates of a higher degree, Kicking It leans into the HBCU with support. Representing artists like B.B King to @aaronnmatheww , the leather guitar patch is surrounded by suede materials while the shape of a pick adds to the bold vision of the collab. Lastly we added colors from the classic “Greetings from Austin” logo is seen throughout the city to welcome newcomers into the growing atmosphere of Austin.
