I’m thinking of starting with meeting twice a month and potentially going to once a month if it gets overwhelming, but let’s film! Let’s build verticals and get our dreams out there! My apartment lobby & lounge can be used for several settings and it’s close to the lake/ park for outdoor settings. I’ve got lights, mics & a camera. Let’s get it!
It’s impossible for me to explain how much I love this, pup. Halo is my baby & I love him with my whole heart. I get to take care of him, be absolutely annoyed by him, worried sick over him, miss him in absence of him & be unbelievably overjoyed with him for the rest of his life. He’s given me somewhere to focus my care and taught me how to focus on my present self as well. ❤️ that’s my Halo.

At some point I will get back to posting about shows, writing, make up and daily life but for now…here’s a picture of my puppy, Halo, and I admiring a heart shaped sour cream & cheddar ruffle of which he did not get to enjoy more than its visual beauty. He huffed and threw his paws as I savored its taste for the both of us. Oh, how I love him. lol.
Halo’s 1st snow ❄️ day!
This dog is from Tennessee & has hated the cold every other time I’ve take him outside, but SNOW called for an exception. As you can see, I was not prepared to go outside. We were doing laundry & taking a walk in my lobby when this 4 month old puppy DRAGGED me outdoors at the site of snow. But, please believe once he found that stick, he was RET TO GO. 🐶♥️ #HALO

He’s 3 months old, today is his first day home and he hasn’t left my side for a second. He’s only yelped when in his crate and wants YOUR food not his unless his food is the ONLY food lol. Humbled. lol. My knee fell apart like tendernism last night & this is still more painful. This man has been my best friend since my literal day 1 & you just never expect how it’ll come crashing down to an end. But here we are. Maybe one of the most selfish, self-caring gifts I’ve given myself. Thank you @actingstudiochicago for bringing us together & Charles Andrew Gardner for guiding us each week to our best selves in all kinds of circumstances. Highly recommend taking On Camera 2 or any class with Charles 10/10. My biggest take aways from class are 1. The permission “take up space” & 2. (Personal realization) I’m not a “natural gifted” savant protégé blah blah blah actress. How freeing? I have to work at this & thank God because I love working at this. It’s where I make the most sense to myself & I’m constantly drawn back to the challenges of acting. Couldn’t quit it if I tried. And I’m pretty f’n good at it. (Lol) these folks in the picture above are too. I can’t wait to see you all at work. 🔑🔑 Thank you for the experience!
