Fight Night is a few short weeks away. Selfishly, boxing means the world to me. The discipline and adversity that comes with this sport gave me a purpose and shaped me into a better person. Fighting, most often, is selfish.
However, @botbchs created a way to give back to the community through boxing. The donations raised by each fighter on the card goes straight into funding local charities and groups in need in CHS. The MUSC children’s hospital and @warriorsurf foundation are a few examples of the direct beneficiaries of this match. (And I’m almost halfway to my goal!)
I’m so proud and humbled to be on the Battle on The Bricks IV card raising awareness and funds for these charities while doing what I love most. Every year the event gets bigger and the impact becomes more substantial.
If you want to be part of this really cool event, tickets are available through the link in my bio. And if you’re able to donate to the cause, the link takes you straight to my fundraising page. Excited for a great night fighting for @eastbayboxingclub ! 🥊
It’s hard to describe how honored I am to be sharing this celebration with my team. In the last 2 years working my little pastry corner at Wild Common, I’ve been taught so much about food and service. Those skills passed down to me have carried me a long way, but on top of learning the trade I’ve also learned about friendship, humility, and dedication. These skills were taught to me by everyone pictured here, and I’ll carry them for the rest of my life.
Every chef pictured here has shaped me drastically and I would not be where I am today without a single one of them. “Congratulations” isn’t celebration enough.
Forever honored to be a part of this team, celebrating this massive achievement ⭐️
