Makeup: “English Magnolia” The story began when I bought some artificial flowers for a photo shoot, but then I remembered that my neighbour’s magnolia tree was in full bloom. He kindly let me pick a few blossoms. This flower is truly unique — it blooms only once a year, and the beauty of its natural petals added a touch of luxury to my makeup look. I had the opportunity to choose a model, and out of many, I selected these incredible green eyes. All of these elements came together to create such a breathtaking image that, at times, even I struggle to take in all that beauty. Why silver? Because I love everything silver. Why turquoise? Because it’s my favourite colour — and it’s the only one in the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette that feels truly unique and special to me. I had limited time to complete this look, and as if by magic, the silver product I needed disappeared. Of course, I was upset — but I didn’t give up. I had to experiment and mix other products to create that silver graphic effect. And did you see those lips? A mix of shimmering pigments and clear gloss — to me, that’s pure magic. Like a little piece of the universe, right there on a woman’s lips. Oh, and those silver pearls — I had a very specific vision in my mind of how they should look, and let me tell you, it wasn’t easy to find them in the whole of London. But in the very last shop on Oxford Street, I finally did. And the moment I finished the look… I cried. I cried from the sheer beauty of what I’d created — and from the realisation that I was the one who made it.
