Our annual HMH 'Make-A-Splash' swimsuit drive is underway. The effort is a partnership with the Spokane Parks Foundation and works to ensure children in need in our community can get a new swimsuit. Appropriate swim attire is a requirement at our community pools for both safety and the pool's filtration system. We all have our why when it comes to the reason we give. For one donor we spoke to last year, her why dates back six decades to a hot summer day.

25-year-old Mackenzie Naught back in court for an arraignment on Friday in Whitman County. Naught pleaded not guilty to first degree sexual misconduct with a minor. The judge set Naught's jury trial for July 13th.
