I hold onto shit for too long.
I made hella music on this weak ass chair for 10 years (upgraded this year IYKYK) and I had this weak ass desktop for 10 years and it finally gave out a couple months back. me not thinking ahead never put the 7 years worth of music files made on it on a ex hard drive.
luckily I kept hella (almost finished) songs on my phone. but again I hold onto shit for too long and have been tryna song dump for about a year and some change but something always came up or timing wasn’t right.
I finally cleared these songs and figured out a way to package them that was enough for that part of my brain cause if you’ve been around me when making albums you know that shit stresses me out cause I care too much.
but these songs might never have came out if I didn’t just say fuck it and drop the second I had a window. They aren’t as finished as I would have liked but FUCK IT.
this is for the recurring messages I get about songs from this era. I do appreciate those messages cause this shit means something TO ME.
