Delighted to announce the official reveal of the project I’m producing!!!!
I’m really excited about this project, as we’ve been working hard on getting this up and running since last year.
This film is special to us as it pays homage to Chicago and our (the production team’s) comedy roots- where we all met and got our start in comedy/film. It’s beautifully written and (will be) directed by @thedrewdull and @justin_mikel at @2east8th . Produced by myself and @therealsmoose .

Joliet Friends Weekend!
This weekend I went with my childhood friends to take one last look at our old stomping grounds, Hufford Junior High, before the building is torn down this summer.
I haven’t been back since that era and it is wild how it hasn’t changed at all. It even smells the same. I thought the building was old BACK THEN.
I largely had a great experience at Hufford, despite (what some may say) its reputation. It had a great mix of people of all backgrounds and some of the best teachers. I enjoyed my time there.
Junior high is such a weird time in one’s life- the in-between- but I’m glad I spent it there. It was nice to relive those memories with some of the same people.
I finally did the NWS’ severe weather spotter certification! While it’s not too difficult to obtain, actually doing it is something! I took a handful of meteorology courses in college for my geography degrees (which was a huge help with the training!) and planned to do it then- well, several years later here we are. As a lifelong weather enthusiast, this is kind of cool.
