We loved the @napbirtofficial 50th Anniversary Conference! World class master techs, all the tools we could ever want, amazing tech talk, chill hangs, and lots of new friends. 🤯Eileen from Burkhart flutes shared her mastery about soldering techniques, we got to feel out about clarinet care with clarinet tech Sarah from Meridian Winds, reconnected with Colter and his Carbon Fiber tbone slides from Trombone Lab, tricked out Del's SBA bari sax with a RULON rest, reconnected with Jeff Peterson from Yamaha Atelier, dinner and hang with the mobile shop maestro Steven Georges of Moments Notice Repair, and waaaay too much laughter and tech talk with Ryan Walker and Rich Zimmerman and Leroy, of MusicMedic.

Our key take aways from this gathering of 300+ repair techs: the group has become much more diverse with solid empowerment and representation of women. 💪🏼. The techs are generally low ego, open minded and eager to explore new ideas 🤓, most techs want to offer more accessories to their clients but are so busy with repair concerns they will benefit from simpler ways to become dealers (more on that soon!)😎

Dr. Brooks helped us during the testing of this product and really did wonderful work in forming its design and expanding an altissimo fingering chart optimized for its use. So thankful to all the players and teachers who showed up for the talk and to try it on their own horns. It was really interesting to get feedback from extraordinary classical players like @eddiegoodmansax and @doctorthundermusic about how the device work with their playing style.
