Today on this date, 30 years ago marks the anniversary of the album that started it all!
@keykool & myself released our debut album “Kozmonautz” on August 22, 1995 independently on Up Above Records. This album pretty much jump started our careers as Underground & Independent Hip Hop artists; this is also marks the birth of @thevisionaries .
To commemorate this personal historical landmark for the both of us, we decided to announce something special for the heads.
NEW SINGLE + UPCOMING PROJECT
After 30 years, Key & myself are finally releasing new music. We’re releasing a new record in October with the new lead off single “Full Circle”, AVAILABLE NOW on & all DSPs (link in the Visionaries IG Bio).
KOZMONAUTZ 2LP VINYL
To also follow up with new music, we are happy to announce the official release of the “Kozmonautz” Limited Edition Double Album Vinyl with a Double Gatefold & New Artwork provided by @incogneeto . Back in 1995, we released the double vinyl album only as a white label promo only with no artwork. Key & myself thought we might as well do it right & make it official since it is the 30 year anniversary. We will be releasing the limited edition double vinyl in the Fall/Winter of 2025. This is for all the true Visionary fans & Hip Hop aficionados!

80 years ago today 3/20/1946,
the last internment camp, Tule Lake was closed.. My father’s family was amongst the last families to leave.
We chose this day to release this music video to honor this anniversary.
What’s going on today in our country to immigrants shows that nothing has changed, and we need to stand together to stop history from continuing to repeat itself.
