I was lucky enough to spend my 40th birthday with so many important and amazing people from my life. I don’t think a lot of people get to do that. I feel so loved and appreciated. Thank you everyone, I can’t tell you how much I love you.

For the second year in a row, I was fortunate to be asked to come speak to the 9th graders at EMK Academy for Health Careers. I got a chance to talk about my job, my story and everyday Hospital OR life. Wow, such a treat.

I know, I’m a day late. New year, same me am I right?! I think the best part of 2025 for me was getting back out into the streets, and back into the wild with my friends. You find a new appreciation for the people and things that you love when you’re couch-locked and sidelined. It can be really hard. I still don’t feel like myself, but day by day things get a little better. I’m progressing, slowly but surely.
