After nearly a thousand hours of illustration over the last two years, I am so proud to share my partner, John Rice’s launch of the #mindscapestarot !

-swipe over- This painting is part of our journey. In February 2020, I found out I was going back to graduate school ‘cross country. March 2020 the world ground to a halt due to Covid-19. While I bided time waiting for the next step, John rediscovered his passion and talent for the visual arts as we all struggled to keep our heads afloat in a world that rarely made sense. I watched as an experiment grew into a passion project- one that touched many lives and communities. When I left in July 2020 I took this painting with me- a housewarming gift for the home away from home I was building.
“The Star.” Inspired by the southwestern landscape that was soon to be my home, was the perfect gift. Stars are guides, waypoints and connections between people gazing up at them. Stars bring us home.
As I pursue my dreams, I took part of John’s with me. This beautiful piece reminds me everyday of what is possible with love, and support. John launches the product of two years of hard work today and I want to share that with you. Support if you can, but enjoy it either way. This was a labor of passion and love. I couldn’t be prouder.
