JUST ANNOUNCED: Paramount sets new Mark Wahlberg & Yahya Abdul-Mateen II crime thriller ‘By Any Means’ release date for Labor Day Weekend 2026.
Set against the backdrop of 1966 Mississippi, and loosely based on true events, By Any Means follows a volatile partnership between a hardened mafia hitman and a young black FBI as they are forced into an uneasy alliance to track down those responsible for the killing of civil rights leaders – uncovering a conspiracy that tests the limits of justice, loyalty, and survival.
The film is slated to release September 4th, 2026 by Paramount Pictures.
JUST ANNOUNCED: ‘BY ANY MEANS’, starring Mark Wahlberg and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
“‘By Any Means’ is based on the incredible true story of the notorious mafia hitman (Wahlberg) who was hired by Hoover’s FBI off-the-books and partnered with a young, black special agent (Abdul-Mateen II) to hunt down those responsible for the murders of civil rights leaders in 1966 Mississippi.” The film is currently in post-production.

JUST ANNOUNCED: 'MISTER', starring Walton Goggins & Chloë Grace Moretz.
"Mister follows a man (Goggins) who wakes up in a strange house covered in blood and comes to realize his true identity while fighting off contract killers from his past — including everyone from his exes to his best friend. To get out, he teams up with his estranged daughter (Moretz) who also has ended up in the family business, but they will need to repair their relationship in order to survive”. Filming gets underway next month in Madrid.
